With the increasing competition Google has decided to change the layout of its Gmail. Well its a whole new Gmail. Its more stylish and compact design. Google is trying to make Gmail more simple and easy to use.
Features in New Gmail
1. The Big Compose button.
2. Mail, Contacts and tasks links at the top of the sidebar.
3. Drop down for Multiple log in.
4. Drop down list of Select all, none etc instead of a link list.
5. Drop down list for Chat setting.
These were the main changes that Google has made in the Gmail to give it a new and fresh look. If you do not like this look you can also revert back to the older version of the Gmail described in previous post.
