People prefer IDM for downloading any thing whether it's a software, song , video or some document. IDM tends to give you more speed than regular download. With the help of IDM, it will automatically detects and starts downloading a file, depending upon the format mentioned in its database.
Add/Remove file format in IDM
1. Open IDM.
2. Click on Options and a window will pop up.
3. Click on File Types Tab and mention the file type extension like the PDF, DOCX, DOC, XLSX, APK etc in the text field.
4. Click on OK
That's all. Now when ever the IDM will detect the file format it will start downloading a file automatically.
