Displace a pic in MS Word 2003/2007/2010

Sometimes when we move a picture in MS Word 2003/2007/2010, the text shifts away from its original position. To enable the pic in the document to move here and there in the document without actually disturbing the symmetry of text we can use the text wrapping technique.

Text wrapping technique in MS Word 2007
 
1. Right click on the image in the word document and scroll down to "Text Wrapping"> "Send to back" or "Send to Front" as per need.

2. Now left click and drag the pic wherever you want to place the image in the document.

This method will enable the user to safely move the pic in the document keeping the text alignment intact.
