With the help of keyboard shortcuts you can work thought your emails more effectively and more quickly as you don't have to take your hands off keyboard. By default these shortcuts are disabled in Gmail. Inorder to use the keyboard shortcuts you have to enable the keyboard shortcuts from the setting.
Enable Keyboard Shortcuts
1. Login to your Gmail account.
2. Click on Setting. Under the General tab, scroll down to Keyboard Shortcuts.
3. Select Keyboard Shortcut On option.
4. Click on Save Changes.
That's all. Now you are free to use the Gmail using the keyboard shortcuts.
