  1. Culture (from Latin cultura "processing, maintenance, agriculture," from colere "live, cultivate, worship, order the fields") is in the broadest sense all that man produces himself creatively, as opposed to the not he created and not changing nature. Cultural performances are all forming transformations of a given material, as in the art or the fine arts, but also mental structures such as law, morality, religion, and science.

The concept of culture has been throughout history subjected again and again from different sides of a determination. 2. The word culture is German for the Latin word cultura, the "Maintain fertile, train," a derivative of Latin colere represents (see above). The terms have the same origin and cult colony. Culture is in the German language since the late 17th Century and is referred here from the beginning, both the land management as well as the "maintenance of intellectual property." Today, the agricultural terms of the term is only used in phrases such as arable land for arable land for cultivation or reclamation; in biology are also related meanings such as cell cultures and bacterial cultures used (see also the culture disambiguation). In the 20th Century is culturally common as an adjective, [2] but with a spiritual focus.

Etymologically derives from the Latin word colere the Indo-European root for Show-"[to] turn turn /", so that the original meaning probably meaning "to be busily engaged" is to be sought
